If I activate the search in ehGrid
SearchPanel
gssEntireGridEh
splGridTopEh
and connects the Grid to a
MemTableEh1 with many records is very fast compared to a TUniquery

You could add this search speed functionality to all descendants of "TDataSet" as with "TMemTableEh"

DevExpress' QuantumGrid has a "GridMode" property that creates a type of cache to store this type of data within it to speed up Classifications, sorting, searches, etc.

Colleague could put the code that is in the "TMemTableEh" component that speeds up searches within the EhGrid, including the part that works with TreeView could also be inside the EhGrid, I see that this way it would make the EhGrid more powerful and independent of the "TMemTableEh "
